We created an image of the action, graphic designs of the logo and the website itself. We constructed an application based on Google Maps in Flash technology. The website enables secure adding of user accounts, participation in discussion under the photographs, viewing the information contents, etc. The content of the website was obtained from the collections of the City Hall of Poznań, the Adam Mickiewicz University and the University Library. Due to its interactive form, it can be also developed by the users. The website includes a comfortable search engine of places and their list; it also enables the users to add new points on the map. Definite advantages of the website are its educational values - it preserves the history of the city, allows to learn about it, establishes a bond between the citizens and the city. At the same time, it affects its image in a positive way - therefore it was warmly received by the media and residents of Poznań. According to its assumptions, the website has a full administrative panel - administrators may easily edit the content of the website and moderate it.
